Non-standard and custom dumpster bottoms — fabricated to your container's exact dimensions. For legacy Wastequip models, oversized containers, custom-fabricated bins, and specialty applications. Typical lead time is 1-2 weeks.
Not every container fits a standard catalog bottom. Older Wastequip dumpsters (especially pre-2010), custom-fabricated bins built by regional fabricators, oversized roll-off-style commercial containers, and specialty applications (sludge boxes, animal-control containers, vault waste) all need bottoms made to spec.
PRT's fabrication shop builds non-standard bottoms in any reasonable dimension using the same heavy-gauge mild steel as our standard bottoms. We add reinforcement gussets, fork-tube cutouts, drain fittings, and any specialty features your container requires. Most orders ship in 1-2 weeks from the time we have final dimensions.
Provide the container's exact outer dimensions (length, width, depth), the configuration (front-load fork tube spacing, rear-load hinge mounting, or specialty), and any special features (drain placement, reinforcement requirements, painted color). PRT customer service will quote based on those specs.
The easiest way to spec a non-standard bottom is to send PRT a photo of the existing bottom with a tape measure laid across it, plus the container's outer dimensions. We'll generate the fabrication drawing for your approval before cutting steel.
Typically 1-2 weeks from the time we have final dimensions and your approval of the fabrication drawing. Rush fabrication (under 7 days) is available for an upcharge.
Send PRT the container's outer dimensions (length, width, depth), fork-tube spacing if front-load, hinge-mount geometry if rear-load, and a photo of the existing bottom. We generate a fab drawing for your approval before cutting steel.
Yes. Send us the container model number (or a photo of the data plate) and we'll match the OEM dimensions and reinforcement pattern. We've fabricated bottoms for most pre-2010 Wastequip models at some point.
Typically 25-50% more, depending on size and complexity. The premium is for the fabrication time, not the steel — material cost is similar.
