The S-series is PRT's flagship dumpster lid line — the right choice for the majority of standard commercial dumpster routes. The profile is engineered for clean alignment with the container rim, full UV stabilization, and tool-free hinge replacement in the field.
S-series lids are split into two main configurations: front-load (designed for forklift-style fork tubes on the front of the container) and rear-load (designed for rear-loading collection trucks with hinged-to-rear lid action). Both share the same material spec and color options.
How to choose
Match the lid to your dumpster's loading style first — front-load or rear-load — then by container size (1, 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 yard) and color.
If you're unsure whether your existing dumpster takes an S-series or D-series profile, the easiest check is to measure the lid's center thickness. S-series lids run thinner; D-series are reinforced. Or send PRT a photo and we'll identify it.
