Replacement sheave pulleys and retaining pins for roll-off truck hoist assemblies — cable routing pulleys, axle pins, bearings, and supporting hardware. Compatible with Galbreath, Stellar, Switch-N-Go, and other major roll-off hoist brands.

Sheave pulleys are the grooved wheels that route the hoist cable around corners and through the hoist assembly. They run constantly under cable load and develop wear in the groove that eventually damages the cable. Sheave pin replacement is typically scheduled with major sheave service.

Frequently asked questions
When should I replace a roll-off hoist sheave?
When the cable groove wears deeper than 1/3 of the cable diameter, or when you see visible cable damage caused by the sheave. Worn sheaves cut cables prematurely.
Are sheave pulleys interchangeable across roll-off hoist brands?
Sometimes — sheave dimensions are largely standardized but mounting pin diameter and bearing format may differ. PRT can confirm compatibility from brand and model.
Why do sheave pins need to be hardened steel?
Sheave pins take constant rotational load and shear stress. Mild steel pins wear quickly and can shear under heavy cable load. Hardened steel is the industry standard.
Do PRT sheaves include bearings?
Complete sheave assemblies include bearings, pins, and grease fittings. Sheaves sold separately ship without bearings — order bearings to match.
