Motor accessories are the parts that connect the motor to everything around it. When you replace a motor, you often need to replace the accessory hardware too — couplings wear from the same misalignment that killed the motor, pulleys crack, mounting brackets fatigue. Stocking accessories separately makes the repair faster.

How to choose

Identify the accessory by what it connects (motor frame to pump, motor shaft to pulley, motor base to sub-frame) and the motor's NEMA frame size and shaft diameter.

If you're rebuilding a motor-pump assembly, replace coupling components even if they look fine — worn couplings damage new motor bearings within months.
