Side Load Dumpster Lids
Side load dumpster lids for containers that load through a top-side opening rather than via fork-tube front-load geometry. Common on animal-control containers, vault waste, sludge boxes, and specialty applications.

Side-load containers are a narrower segment of the commercial waste world but a real one. The lid geometry is different from standard front-load or rear-load — wider, flatter profile, with a hinge orientation designed for the loading direction rather than the pickup direction.

What's a 'side load' dumpster?

How is a side load lid different from a standard dumpster lid?
The lid geometry is flatter and wider, the hinge is oriented along the loading edge (not the pickup edge), and the latch design is usually different — often a slam-latch or pad-latch rather than the standard front-load hinge alone.
Are side load lids available off the shelf?
Standard small-container sizes are stocked. Larger or non-standard side load applications are custom fabrication — typically 7–14 business day lead time.
Can side load lids be retrofitted to a standard dumpster?
