Electrical accessories and supporting hardware for industrial trash compactor control panels — terminal blocks, DIN rail, wire, fuse blocks, control relays, timers, and the small components that hold a control panel together. Stocked for most major brands.
Electrical accessories are the unglamorous components that make every compactor work — terminal blocks that connect wiring to controls, DIN rail that mounts the components, fuse blocks that protect circuits, timer relays that delay cycle operations, control relays that switch logic signals. Each is cheap; each is critical when it fails.
PRT stocks the most commonly-replaced electrical accessories: terminal blocks (screw-clamp and spring-clamp), DIN rail in standard widths, control wire in standard gauges and colors, fuse blocks and CC/Class CC fuses, miniature control relays (8-pin, 11-pin), timer relays (on-delay, off-delay), and shrink tubing.
Order by component category (terminal blocks, DIN rail, wire, fuses, relays, timers) and the specific function. Most accessories use industry-standard formats — PRT replacements drop in to existing panels.
For control panel rebuilds, consider standing-inventory kits — PRT can ship a control-accessories starter kit with the most-replaced items for compactor service.
Yes. Standard 35mm DIN rail is universal — terminal blocks from PRT mount on any compatible rail. Spring-clamp and screw-clamp formats are stocked.
MTW (Machine Tool Wire) is the industrial control standard — flexible, 600V rated, oil and moisture resistant. TFFN is a thinner alternative for low-current control circuits. PRT stocks MTW for compactor service; TFFN on request.
Common causes: contact arcing from inductive loads (use a snubber or RC network), overvoltage from a failed control transformer, or moisture/contamination ingress. Replace the relay and also fix the underlying cause — otherwise the new one fails too.
PRT timer relays use the standard 8-pin and 11-pin sockets common across brands. Time-delay settings are field-adjustable. Verify compatibility by socket pin layout, not brand name.
